In all member countries of the European Union (EU), from 25.05.2018, Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, also known as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), becomes applicable.
GDPR strengthens the old legislation and standardises it across all EU countries. In Romania, there is currently Law 677/2001 for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and their free movement, whose provisions have already been applied by T.E.L.L Security Systems SRL. In the contractual documents, references to Law 677/2001 will be replaced by references to GDPR.

Any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, with or without the use of automated means, such as: collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission (including to third parties), dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking/restriction, erasure or destruction.
WHICH CATEGORIES OF NATURAL PERSONS MAY HAVE THEIR DATA PROCESSED
Personal data that are processed by TELL Security Systems SRL belong to the following categories of natural persons: client (even after the termination of the contractual relationship), legal or conventional representatives of the client, authorized representatives in the relationship with our company.
WHY TELL SECURITY SYSTEMS PROCESSES PERSONAL DATA
TELL Security Systems processes personal data in order to fulfil legal obligations, to comply with the provisions of contracts concluded with its customers and to optimise workflows and internal regulations, so that every customer can benefit from constantly improved services and products on a daily basis. Also, when you become a customer of TELL Security Systems or when you use our services and products, based on the consent already expressed, you may receive communications making our offers known.
TO WHOM TELL SECURITY SYSTEMS MAY DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA AND TO WHICH COUNTRIES IT MAY TRANSFER THESE DATA
Our company may disclose personal data to the following categories of recipients: customers and their representatives, representatives of TELL Security Systems SRL, entities of the TELL Group, contractual partners of TELL Security Systems SRL, representatives of TELL Security Systems SRL with regard to the processing of personal data, judicial authorities, central public authorities, local public authorities, international organizations, service and goods providers, credit bureaus, insurance and reinsurance companies, professional organizations, market research organizations, debt collection/recovery agencies.
WHAT THE RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS ARE:
RIGHT TO INFORMATION – the right to be informed about the processing and protection of personal data by TELL Security Systems SRL;
RIGHT OF ACCESS TO DATA – the right to obtain from the data controller (such as TELL Security Systems SRL) confirmation as to whether or not personal data is being processed by it;
THE RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION – the right to have inaccurate data rectified and incomplete data completed;
THE RIGHT TO DELETE DATA (“RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN”) – the right to obtain, to the extent that the legal conditions are met, the deletion of personal data;
RIGHT TO RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING – the right to obtain, to the extent that the legal conditions are met, the marking of stored personal data in order to limit their further processing;
THE RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY – the right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used and easily readable format, and the right to have such data transmitted by TELL Security Systems SRL. to another data controller, provided the legal conditions are met;
THE RIGHT TO OPPOSITION – the right to object at any time, on justified and legitimate grounds relating to the individual’s situation, to personal data being processed, provided that the legal conditions are met;
THE RIGHT TO BE SUBJECT TO AN INDIVIDUAL DECISION – the right to request and obtain the withdrawal, annulment or review of any decision based solely on processing by automated means (including profiling) that produces legal effects or similarly affects data subjects to a significant extent;
THE RIGHT TO TAKE LEGAL RECOURSE TO THE NATIONAL SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA – the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data, or to apply to the courts to defend any rights guaranteed by the applicable legislation in the field of personal data protection, which have been violated.
